Prenatal Health Resources

Prenatal Care: Giving Your Baby a Healthy Start?

If you know you are pregnant, or think you might be, call your doctor to schedule a visit. When you are pregnant, it is important to get prenatal care.

Prenatal care is care that women get when they are pregnant. It can help keep mom and baby healthy because doctors can see and take care of any health problems. Seeing a doctor more than once can help many problems and stop others. Doctors also can talk to pregnant women about things they can do to give their babies a good start to life.
