Kathy Bagley is Co-Chair of WECC and the Director of Parks & Recreation and Social & Youth Services for the Town of Wethersfield. She has worked for the Town of Wethersfield for 28 years. She holds a Master’s Degree from Florida State University and a BS from Southern Connecticut State University. She is a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional and has also worked in the parks and recreation field in Waterbury & Newington, CT and Tallahassee, FL.
Mary Kay Jensen is Co-Chair of the WECC. Mary Kay is a Wethersfield resident and parent of 3 children. Mary Kay has a BA in Sociology from Eastern University in St. David’s, PA and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Prior to moving to Wethersfield, she was a preschool teacher at the Open Center in Somerville, MA.
Sally Dastoli the Assistant Superintendent and Director of Curriculum for Wethersfield Public Schools. Sally started her teaching career in Wethersfield as a seventh grade science teacher at Silas Deane Middle School before serving as the K-12 Science Curriculum Resource Teacher for Wallingford Public Schools. She has administrative experience at the elementary, middle school and high school levels. Sally has presented at local, state and nation conferences on topics that include curriculum design and inquiry based learning. She has a BS, MA in Education and a 6th year Diploma in Educational Leadership from the University of Connecticut. Her spare time is devoted to her husband and two children.
Erica Texeira is the Assistant Director of Social and Youth Services for the Town of Wethersfield. Erica has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology, along with a Master’s Degree and License in Marriage and Family Therapy. Erica has worked in non-profit agencies, residential treatment facilities, private practice, substance abuse treatment, and therapeutic day school settings. Erica is also a mother to two little boys.
